OLIVER G. CUTLIP, age 87 of Canton, passed away Monday evening at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Sutton, West Virginia to the late Joel and Bertha Cutlip he was preceded in death by his son Melvin Cutlip, step-son Joseph D. Plotter, two sisters and five brothers. He was a WW II veteran serving in the Army. Oliver was retired from the Hoover Company. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Lucinda (Melchior) Cutlip, daughters Sharon (Billy) Wright of Wooster, Nellie Ritchey of Mansfield, Carol Book of Perrysville, Connie Kay Spitler of Wooster, five step-sons, two step-daughters, two sisters and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 8:30 to 10 am at the Rossi Funeral Home with services to follow at 10 am, Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. Entombment will be in North Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Howard Metzger and the doctors and staff of Aultman Compassionate Care Center for their care of Oliver.
