PAM HEROPULOS, age 88 of Canton, passed away Tuesday after a brief illness. Born in Kilkis, Greece to the late Konstantine and Agape (Fotiades) Semertsidis, she was preceded in death by her husband Nufre Heropulos, brothers Nick and Panage Semertsides, and sisters-in-law Kate Ifantiedes and Helen Galanos. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Koraes Ladies Society, Daughters of Penelope, and the Pontian Society. Pam retired from Spilios Candy Shop in 2008 after 50 years of service. She is survived by her daughters Sophia and Patti Heropulos, sons Nicholas A.(Kathy Sanger) Heropulos and Tom (Miriam) Galanos, grandchildren; Nicholas Anthony (Kim Sovold), Jessica L. Heropulos (Todd Sidell), Michael B. Heropulos, Taylor N. Hamilton, Pamela Renee Heropulos (Todd DaVore), great-grandchildren Elijah Nufre, Landyn, Jadyn, Reese Ann, Elizabeth Annmarie, brother Angelo (Sofia) Semertsidis, sister Aliki Semertsidis, nephews Niko, Gus and George Semertsidis, Nick Ifantiedes, Frank (Mary) Ifantiedes, sister-in-law Nia DiCarlo and cousins Philip Fotiadis and Philip Papadopoulos. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9 to 10 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with funeral services to follow at 10 am, Rev. Dr. Daniel Rogich officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Pam's name may be made to Holy Trinity Church Building Fund.
