Patty Jo (Parker) Abbonizio

Patty Jo (Parker) Abbonizio age 82 of Canton, passed away Saturday evening surrounded by her loving family. Born in Canton to the late Howard H. and Georgia (Walker) Parker she was preceded in death by her siblings Max Parker, Margie Barrett, Robert Parker, Mary Lou Sims, Darl Parker, Shirley Mash and Pete Parker. A 1952 graduate of Timken Vocational High School, Patty Jo was a very loving and creative soul. Her hobby became her passion known as “Lit'L Guys by The Clown Lady.” She was a member of the Massillon Eagles Aerie #190 Auxiliary, North Canton Elks Lodge #2029 Lady's Auxiliary, and the VFW Post #3747 Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Joseph Abbonizio, whom she married on March 21, 1953 and celebrated 63 years of marriage, daughters Susan (Harlan) Bilbrey, Sandy Abbonizio, Laura (Darren) Miller, grandsons Robert (Jen) and Chris Miller and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Dina Rooney and her staff for their compassionate care during the last ten years. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Northlawn Cemetery.
