Pauline E. (Clementone) Roma, age 94 of Canton, passed away early Saturday morning at home. She was born in Columbus, OH to the late Paul and Rose (Barlafante) Clementone. Pauline was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Albert F. Roma, Sr.; and sisters Mary Camela and Ann Walden. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Columbus, OH. Pauline was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Oblate of St. Benedict of the St. Meinard Monastery, and the Marion Group. She retired from the Anchor-Hocking Glass Company. She is survived by her children Albert F. (Sheila) Roma, Jr., Natalie A. (Quentin) Cooley; grandchildren Tony (Jennifer) Roma, Paul (Shelle) Roma, Christopher Cooley; eight great-grandchildren Maria, Alex, Izabella, Lily, and Leo Roma, Nicolas, Sophia, and Luc Roma; and sister Betty (Dick) McCloskey. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 9:15 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Don King as celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne, OH, on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael Social Concerns Emergency Fund, or a charity of your choice.
