Philomena “Fanny” Muccilli, age 97 of North Canton, passed away early Friday morning. Born in Canton to the late Liberato and Maria (DelRiccio) Muccilli, she was preceded in death by her brothers Ralph, Joe, Albert and Angelo and sisters Mary Simone, Catherine Rossetti and Helen McCord. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish, Fanny worked at Superior Dry Cleaning for 10 years and then Aultman Hospital laundry for 11 years, retiring in 1984. She is survived by her nephews Dan and Jane Simile, Anthony and Angela DiSimone, nieces Carol and Chuck Riegler, Judi Abrigg, Marie and John Fehrenbach, many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, September 12th from 9 to 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Parish with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 am, Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Fanny's name may be made to Crossroads Hospice. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff of St. Luke Lutheran Home and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care of Fanny.
