Betty Marie (Musacchia) Orlando, age 99 of Canton, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017. Born in Brewster, OH to the late Castenzia and Ursula (Petrolia) Musacchia, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Leonard Orlando, son-in-law Nick Pacelli, sisters Josephine Chatterelli, Antoinette “Nini” Grillon, Angeline Dattavio, brothers James, Bruno and Matt Musacchia. Betty was a member of St. Antony/All Saints Catholic Parish and the Miraculous Medal Sodality where she was in office for 26 years. She worked with the “Craft Ladies” of St. Anthony for 30 years, and also the Dover and New Philadelphia craft clubs. Betty was an excellent cook. She loved to make dishes for family, friends and the church bake sales. She is survived by her daughters Rosalie Pacelli and her children; Nicholas (Lesa) Pacelli II, Thomas Pacelli, Lisa (Glenn) Cantor (Katie Rose and Lauren Cantor), Jeanne (Tom) Kauffman and their children; Renae Garman (Adam (Susie) Garman) (Thomas and Eliana), (Andrew and Makenzie) Scott (Michelle) Kauffman (Spencer and Zachary), John Kauffman (Merlayna and Markus), and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Anthony/ All Saints Catholic Parish, with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish. Jeannie and Rosalie and families: Deepest sympathy in the passing of Mrs. Orlando. I remember her well from when we lived on Second Street and you lived on E Tusc. Her and your dad were great neighbors to us. Now they can remissness in Heaven with Lois and Russ.
