Robert F. Pindel, age 80 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. He was born in Oil City, PA on November 24, 1937 to the late Frank and Catherine Pindle. Robert was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School, and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed by the Stark County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff for 23 years. Robert was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish and the Polish Club; a self-employed Beautician, he was the owner and operator of Classic Coiffeurs. Robert was also an avid golfer and enjoyed watching the Cavs, Browns, Indians and OSU Buckeyes. Along with his parents, Robert is now resting in peace with his late wife of 57 years, Delores, whom he cared for during her extended illness; also preceded by daughter-in-law Wendy Pindel. Robert is survived by his children Mark (Elizabeth) Pindel, Gary (Susan) Pindel and Stacey (John) Gallucci; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Larry (Donna) Pindel and Dick (Mary) Pindel. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish, with Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff at Mercy Select and Dr. Michael Tirmonia for their compassion and care.

Dear Mark, Elizabeth, Gary, Susan, Stacey, John and grandchildren,

All of us in Pennsylvania wish to express our deepest sympathy in the loss of you Father and Grandfather. No words can take away your sorrow, but we wanted you to know we are thinking of you and praying for you. We can tell you love your parents very much. You are not alone on this journey. It is a tough one. Email me if you wish. I am sorry I missed talking with you at the funeral. I have so many memories of both your parents and I treasure them very much.
