Annette "Nettie" Conklin Obituary

Annette “Nettie” M. (Meese) Conklin, age 58 of North Canton, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024. She was born in Canton to the late William Meese and Madeline (Gialluca) Meese-Pietrocola. Nettie was a 1983 graduate of GlenOak High School. She continued her education at Stark State University earning an Associates Degree in Medical Coding. She was employed at Aultman Hospital for many years. Nettie enjoyed family dinners and hosting holiday celebrations at her home. She loved animals and they loved her. She always took in stray animals and during her lifetime she had over 20 pets. Nettie would go out of her way to help others. She was a blessing to her paternal grandparents in the late years of their lives and assisted them in any way she could. She enjoyed taking care of her niece Cecilia (Cece). She was Cecilia’s silly “Tete” and never missed an opportunity to have fun, go on an adventure or make fun memories with Cece. Nettie also enjoyed many girls trips with her friends from Aultman. Nettie is survived by her sister Mary T. Meese, brother Steven R. Meese, nephew Dominic William Meese, niece Cecilia Rose Meese, and her spitfire Chihuahua “Auggie”. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
