Tammie Moore Obituary

Tammie E. Moore, age 62, of Canton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2024, while visiting family in Sedona, Arizona. Born on April 25, 1961, Tammie dedicated her life to serving others with boundless love and compassion.

Tammie retired from the Canton City School District in 2013, where she served as a Behavior Adjustment Coach for numerous years. She was fiercely dedicated to her students and their families, always looking for innovative ways to help them. She continued to stay connected with students, parents, and colleagues, through the years - always ready to listen and pray for them during struggles and celebrate their life’s victories.

A devout member of Little Flower Catholic Parish, Tammie was deeply involved in various church groups throughout her life. From teaching CCD to her involvement in Regnum Christi, and most recently with Matthew 8:20, Little Flower’s food and clothing ministry, Tammie's commitment to helping others, especially the underprivileged, was evident in every aspect of her life.

Tammie's generous spirit extended beyond her church community. She was known for her unwavering dedication to helping those in need, whether providing necessities, organizing prayer chains, or orchestrating card showers and masses for those facing challenges. Her acts of kindness touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

In her free time, Tammie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was passionate about cooking, especially her famous pizza bread, and delighted to bring people together for celebrations and gatherings. An avid crafter and decorator, Tammie was incredibly creative and never passed up an opportunity to start a new project.

Tammie had a deep love for animals, fashion, organization, and list making. She cherished vacationing with her husband, lounging by the pool, and basking in the sun's warmth. Her love for her family, friends, and beloved dogs is immeasurable, and she took great joy in ensuring their happiness and security.

Tammie was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Dian Mariol. She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 38 years, Mark A. Moore, Sr., her children Tena and Mark Jr., their spouses Joe Crock and Amber Moore, her brother, Mike Mariol, and her cherished grandson Myles.

Tammie's memory will forever be treasured by all who knew her. We hope her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity inspires others to pay it forward to an animal, child, or anyone who has found themselves knocked down by all that life can throw at us. She was always a champion for the underdog.
