Florence T. (DeVito) Scridon age 92 of North Canton, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 28th. Born in Canton to the late Angelo and Caroline (Ross) DeVito, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Scridon, brothers Vincent J. DeVito, and Dr. John A. DeVito. Flo was a 1944 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. She worked as a legal secretary for attorney Carl Benson and Judge Harold DeHoff. Later on she was a secretary for St. Louis parish rectory. She loved her family, dancing, and shopping. Flo is survived by her children Gigi (Jim) Rossi, Jeff Scridon, grandchildren Carla (Craig) Rossi, Adam “A.J.” (Sarah) Rossi, great grandson Louis Anthony Rossi, sister-in-law Carmie DeVito, and many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A concelebrated Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, 10:00 am, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Benson Okpara, Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop, and Rev. Fr. Zachary Coulter. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. James Johns, Sandy Collier, and their entire staff for all their loving care.
