Michael J. Dima, age 56 of Canton, passed away Sunday morning after a brief illness. Born in Canton, he was a graduate of Glen Oak High School. Mike loved his family, music, playing his guitar, and his cat “Squeeky”. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and the Little Flower Men's Club. He was preceded in death by his father Carmen A. Dima, Sr., brother Carmen A. Dima, Jr., nephews Carmen A. Dima III, John Kepner and uncle Joseph Dima. He is survived by his mother Cora (Nelson) Dima, sister and brother-in-law Theresa and Joe Lorenzo, aunt Virginia Dima, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at Little Flower Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 in church. Internment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to help defray funeral expenses. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Mercy ICU and Mercy Select for all their loving care and kindness.
