Don was a true friend and always there when you needed him. He put his heart and soul into every project that he was involved in; and there were many. I have enjoyed many years of Don's friendship and many hours of solving life problems over lunch. He is going to be greatly missed and always remembered.

It all happened so quick, even the warnings some how you ignored. I feel you knew each day the end was near, that you did not want us to fear so you said a silent good bye for only us to hear. I know your pain is gone, and your voice you have back, so Heavens look out for Dad will be on his mission to continue to give back. Kiss gma for me and give all the family a Italian hug.....love you always, T

To: The Brighenti Family:
We deeply regret learning of the loss of your dear loved one, but thought you might find these few words comforting. Our hope in seeing our loved-ones again, is heightened by the guarantee cited at Acts 17:31—wherein our Lord Jesus Christ—by his resurrection—makes this certain! Daniel 12:2a, also alludes to this resurrection. However, until the occurrence of that future resurrection—our Heavenly Father Jehovah assures us at Revelation 21:3-5, that death will eventually be a thing of the past! Otherwise, his dear son would have died in vain—wouldn’t you agree? Therefore, for additional comfort, please visit the jw.org website and read about the hope for our dead loved ones [“Can the dead really live again?” Or, watch the brief video: “Is There Hope for the Dead?”]. Then, take comfort from the cited Scriptures as you await the realization of welcoming back your loved one to a restored paradise earth!

I just came across Don's obit and am in total shock! Don and I go waaaay back. Every now and then we'd run into each other and talked for long period of time always ending with "We need to do lunch!". He always had a myriad of ideas rolling around his head and was an dedicated fundraiser. I will miss his smile and laugh.
Don was one of the good guys. May he rest in peace.

My sympathies to his family,
Paula Mastroianni
