Donald C. Linn, Jr., age 89 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. He was born in Canton to the late Donald, Sr. and Gladys Linn. Donald was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and after served in the U.S. Navy. He then retired from the Canton City Fire Department, after 33 years. Donald was an avid runner, and loved running the McKinley Monument Steps. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Clyde Linn. He his survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean; children Melissa (Ron) Ralston of Wadsworth, and Erik (Jennifer) Linn of Canton. Also survived by grandchildren Ava and Vivienne Ralston; and brothers Larry (Emily) Linn of Canton, and Lanny Linn of St. Augustine, Florida. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. Last Alarm services beginning at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 10 a.m at St. Anthony/All Saints Parish, with Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski as celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the International Foundation for CDKL5 Research (P.O. Box 926 Wadsworth, Ohio 44282).
