Dear Garafalo Family

Though I only really knew Mike, I remember his Mom and Dad and the WHOLE family as a GREAT one.

I wanted to make sure I sent thoughts and prayers to Mike and all the family whom I had the PLEASURE of knowing and working with there at St. Peter's a few years back...hee hee

Pam and I mourn your loss. I have beeen a patient at the Cleveland Clinic for three years and not able to attend the service. I was Helen and Carl’s councilman. We always appreciated their love, generosity and integrity. Helen being valedictorian of her class is no surprise. Her intelligence was only exceeded by her grace and beauty. Pam saw her and spoke with her in mid December. Your parents attended parties at Pam’s sister Jenny’s house every holiday. We pray God’s riches blessings upon you as you journey through your time of grief.      Rich and Pam McElroy

Family of Helen Garafalo:  With great sadness I learned of Helen’s passing. Her achievements in politics and in the community were most outstanding. She set many firsts for women in Stark County. In my 50 years of political involvement she was one the finest I have ever known.  Helen loved her family above all. My family is praying for Helen’s family during this time of great loss. In God’s love, Dave and Marge Johnson and family, North Canton
