Adam Sousaris, age 89 of North Canton, passed away early Saturday, June 12, 2021. He was born in Chios, Greece to the late George and Calliope (Tsangaris) Sousaris on October 4, 1931. Adam was employed by Aspro Steel for over thirty years. He was a member of St. Haralambos and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Churches, the Agia Markella Society, and the Senior Citizens Club.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Stella Sousaris, brother Michael, and sister-in-law Norma Jean "Dolly" Sousaris. Adam is survived by his daughter Irene (Peter) Basiakos of Hilliard, Ohio, and two grandchildren Steven (Nicole) Basiakos and Alexander Basiakos. He was also remembered and loved by many extended family members and friends.

Family and friends will be received at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin in the church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Nicholas V. Gamvas officiating. Interment to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, in Adam's name.
