Adrienne Nicole Shinaberry

Our beloved Adrienne Shinaberry left this world on August 13, 2023, leaving family and friends heartbroken. She was 46 years old.
Born in Canton, Ohio on October 24, 1976, she attended The Ohio State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and went on to become an RN. She was a Cardio Thoracic nurse with the Cleveland Clinic. A passionate, life-long learner, she later earned licensure as a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse and worked at Fresenius Medical Care.
Adrienne's presence lit up a room. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her sense of humor, her willingness to help others in their health struggles, her intellect, and her unwavering devotion to her children and their education. She enjoyed traveling, had an affinity for animals, and was an amazing cook.
Adrienne is survived by her two brilliant children Aleksa and Joaquin Shinaberry; mother Darryl (Carter) Shinaberry; two siblings; many nephews and nieces; and best friend Michele Herraiz. Adrienne is preceded in death by her father David Shinaberry, who she cared for at the end of his life.
A public memorial service for Adrienne will be held at Rossi Family Funeral Home (730 30th Street NW, Canton, Ohio 44709) on August 20th from 5-7pm. We welcome you to share your stories about Adrienne.
Due to Adrienne's unexpected passing, in lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests contributions to her daughter and son, Aleksa and Joaquin Shinaberry, to be used for their higher education. Nothing would have made her more proud than to see Aleksa, 21 and Joaquin, 18 achieve their goals.
