Tasos Kisgeropoulos, our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle & Cousin, passed away Monday morning surrounded by his loved ones. He went to be reunited with both his parents, sister, and many other friend and family members in heaven. His family moved from Katerini, Greece on September 29 ^th 1974, to seek a better life for his children in the U.S.A . They settled in Canton, Ohio, where he lived until 2016. Tasos was one of the original founding members of Komnini Pontian Club, which was founded in the mid 1970's. He served as the President, Secretary, and a Board Member. He was also instrumental in drafting the original bylaws of the Association. Tasos is survived by his wife of 58 years, Efthimia, and his 7 children: Lakis from Southern CA, Anestis from Canton, Savvas from Lakewood Ranch, FL, Emilios from Port Orange, FL, Despina from Manhasset, NY, Sam from Canton, and Theodoros from Drama, Greece. He was also blessed with 15 grand children whom he cherished dearly. In addition, he is survived by his beloved niece Evniki Kalengis of Canton, and Lakis Hionides of Katerini, Greece. Calling Hours will be at Whipple Heights Alliance Church, 4900 12th St NW, Canton, Ohio 44708, at 10:00AM Saturday, followed by an 11:00 AM service. Internment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Whipple Heights Alliance Church.
