Andrew T. Pertginides, age 91 of Middlebranch, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024. Born in Canton to the late Timothy and Mary Pertginides, he was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, and Canton McKinley Rifle and Pistol Club. Andy was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer. He got his first hole-in-one at the age of 86. Andy was a structural steel ironworker for union local #550. He was preceded in death by his first wife Clara (Tzangas) Pertginides. Andy is survived by his wife of 23 years Laura (Presutti) Pertginides, children Andrea Pertginides and her son Ryan (Caroline) Geltmeier, Andy (Shirley) Pertginides Jr. and their children Daniel Pertginides, Chelsea (Brad) Brinka, step-children John (Christine) Lazarides and their children Zachery and Ariana Lazarides, Linda (Len) Daviduk and their daughter Macie Daviduk, George (Andrea) Lazarides and their children Alana, Owen, and Remington Lazarides, two great grandchildren, sisters Simela Milano, Athena (Tom) Elert, brother Larry Pertginides and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 10 to 11 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with the funeral service to follow at 11, Rev. Fr. Nicholas Halkias officiating. Interment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery.
