Angelina (Alessandro) Spitale, age 94, passed away peacefully March 31 ^st with her family at her side. Born March 12, 1923, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late Joseph and Caroline Alessandro. She spent most of her life in Canton, Ohio where she retired at the age of 82 from Willis Motors after 23 years of service. Angelina loved to go to bingo and play car ds. Her passion was her family, and until recently she was cooking Sunday dinners for them . Sh e was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Spitale who was the love of her life; and brothers Frank and Carl Alessandro. Angelina is survived by two sons John (Kathy) Spitale and Joseph (Judy) Spitale; two daughters Marie (Larry) Pappano and Jolene (Ken) Speck. Also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother Anthony (Mary) Alessandro; sister Mary (Jim) Cugino; brother-in-law Mauro (Sally) Spitale; and sisters-in-law Josephine Alessandro and Tillie Spitale. Family and friends will be received Tuesday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Parish. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Leo Wehrlin as celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
