Angeline Mary (Fostines) Paul, age 88 of Canton, passed away on October 23, 2024. Angie was born February 10, 1936 in Massillon to the late Nicholas and Angeline (Sarris) Fostines. She was a proud Washington High School graduate, a retiree of the Hoover Company and a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Angie was a loving, devoted  wife, mother, Yiayia and friend. She was an excellent cook, especially of Greek food. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Paul N. Paul Sr., brothers John (Betty) Fostines, Christ (Pat) Fostines, Pete (Tula) Fostines, brothers-in-law Angelo Venditti and Harry Vlahos. She is survived by her sister, Doris Thanos, son Paul N. Paul Jr., son and daughter-in-law Harry and Bitsy Paul, daughter Simmi Ann Paul, granddaughters Katie (Basil) Paul, Kristen Parks, and Erin (Brandon) McConville, great grandchildren Jack, Phoebe and Jude, sisters-in-law Bessy Vlahos, Nancy Venditti and Georgia (John) McDonald, brother-in-law Harry (Sharon) Paul, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Louis Shaheen for his decades long excellent care of our parents Paul and Angie. Also the staff of Bethany nursing home for their attentive and compassionate care of Angie in the last three weeks. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home and Thursday from 10 to 11 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral service will be Thursday 11:00 am in church with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Halkias officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Donations in honor of Angie can be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Choir.
