Angeline Leavers (1929-2017). Our Aunt Angie peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 at the age of 88, following a lengthy stay at The Regency of Canton. We are sure she did not want to miss our brother Casey's (10/08/1957 – 12/01/1998) 60th birthday celebration in heaven! Born on February 2, 1929, she spent her entire life in Canton, Ohio and retired from The Hoover Company. Angie was preceded in death by her husband, George Leavers in 1982, parents, John and Constance (Rinaldi) Pero, siblings, Joseph Nast, Dominick Naste, Sarah Ritz, Elizabeth Shaklee and Lucille (Chickie) Spillios, nephew, Keith (Casey) Shaklee. Angie is survived by her niece and nephews, Lynette (Danny) Collins, and John Shaklee (Jeff Higginson) of Canton, Ohio. Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at Sunset Hills Burial Park. We are sending heartfelt thank yous to the staff at The Regency Assisted Living for keeping our Aunt Angie safe during her stay. May God bless the living angels on earth, the staff of Crossroads Hospice and Asera Care Hospice. She is at peace now, resting with her sister Chickie, whom she talked about daily.
