Angeline (Torcasio) Wright age 96 of Louisville, passed away Friday afternoon. Born in Nicastro, Italy to the late Louis and Teresa (Torchia) Torcasio, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerome C. Wright, daughter Teresa Johnson, brothers Paul, Alfred, and Carl Torcasio. Angeline was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener, loved cooking, knitting, and sewing. She was fiercely proud of her Italian heritage and her family. She is survived by her children Lillian (Darryl) Selinsky, Rosalie Wright, Jerome P. (Sheila) Wright, Thomas (Kathleen) Wright, son-in-law Russell Johnson, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Lillian and Stella Torcasio. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home and Tuesday from 10 to 11am with services to follow at 11:00, Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. Internment will be in St. Louis Cemetery. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of St. Joseph Care Center and Crossroads Hospice for all their loving care.
