November 26, 1958 – October 25, 2023
Angelo A. Ginella, age 64 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2023. Born in Canton to the late Salvatore, Sr. and Rosaria (Saporito) Ginella, he was also preceded in death by his nephew Cade Hampton Spartz and mother-in-law Betty Grandy. Angelo was a 1976 graduate of Lincoln High School and a member of the Canton Masonic Temple, McKinley Lodge. Angelo was a retired steel worker, as well as a diehard Steelers fan. His favorite place to be was outdoors, particularly fishing and camping. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and especially enjoyed being a Nonno. Angelo loved partaking in the Italian traditions passed down from his parents including his favorite holiday dishes. He is survived by his wife Kathy J. (Grandy) Ginella, daughter Nicole (Jeremy) Workman, grandchildren Kaylee and Harrison Workman, step-children Carrie (Keith) Cline, Nicholas (Kori) Calderone, step-grandson Caden Calderone, sister Marisa (Wayne) Wiethe, brothers Salvatore Ginella, Jr., Andy (Suzanna) Ginella, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins here at home and in Italy. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services to begin at noon in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Angelo's name, may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
