ANN "OMI" (WIELAND) W. COMPETTI, age 85 of Louisville, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. Born in St. Martin, Austria to the late Roman and Katarina Wieland she was preceded in death by son Thomas in 2003, two sisters and one brother. An area resident since 1963 she was a member of St. Paul Catholic Parish of North Canton. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Thomas Competti, children Linda and Daniel Zust of Richfield, Ramona and Jim Blankenship of Norcross, GA, Jim and Rashawna Competti of Columbus, daughter-in-law Debra Competti of Canton, seven grandchildren; Daniel, Lindsey, Emily, Allison, Zachary, Thomas, Ashley, two great-grandchildren Isabella and James, three sisters and one brother. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:30 pm at St. Paul Catholic Parish in North Canton with Rev. Fr. Stephen Zeigler, celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
