Anna Marie
(Wollenberg) Wilson
August 19, 1950 – September 12, 2024
Anna Marie Wilson, age 74, has spread her wings to fly amongst the angels following a lengthy and courageous battle against cancer on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Born on August 19, 1950 in Canton, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Margaret (DiCato) Wollenberg. Anna Marie graduated from Timken Vocational High School and was employed by Diebold, Revco, and ultimately retiring as an Administrative Professional from the City of Canton.
Anna Marie was a devoted member of Christ the Servant Parish along with being active in her community. Proud of her Italian heritage, she was a lifelong volunteer for the Italian American Festival, being awarded the Volunteer Service Award in 2017. She also enjoyed being a part of the Sons and Daughters of Italy organization. She was delighted to be a member of the Canton Fine Arts, volunteering annually for the Christkindl Markt. Professionally, she was a member of CODI Chapter IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals). Always the life of the party, Anna Marie enjoyed dancing and listening to music, especially polka.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her dearest sister Catherine Leopold and brother Richard Wallenberg.
Anna Marie is survived by her loving husband Dale Wilson and her most cherished children Arthur Conn II, Alex Conn, and Andrea (Philip) Severyn; step-children Lucinda (Rick) Cress, Texas Wilson, Lori (Kenny) Wright, and Margie Wilson; and light of her life grandchildren Connor Severyn and Alyssa Wilson. She is also survived by her beloved sister Helen Mason and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the Rossi Family Funeral Home from 4 - 7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Christ the Servant Parish, with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano as celebrant. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aunt Susie's Cancer Wellness Center.
