Anthony Parker, age 22, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2023. He is survived by his parents, Vassa Delis-Parker and James Parker, sister Ariana Parker, brother Andrew Parker, partner Frankie Green and many beloved cousins and friends.

Anthony was a graduate of McKinley Sr. High School and the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at the Ohio State University. He had a deep and abiding commitment to social justice that was part of the fabric of his being. He was tolerant, empathetic and innately kind, and also possessed an incisive and discerning mind. Anthony was an incredibly gifted musician, a guitar man par excellence. In his too brief years on this earth, he spread joy and light. Anthony will be missed beyond words by the many who loved him.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral services will begin in the church at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Nicholas V. Gamvas officiating, assisted by Rev. Fr. Nicholas Halkias from Holy Trinity, Canton. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity or to the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank.
