Anthony R. "Tony" Lupe, age 79 of North Canton, passed away April 13, 2018. Born in Canton to the late Anthony and Lucille (Gamble) Lupe he was also preceded in death by his brother Frank. Tony was a cement finisher retiring from Marks Concrete. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Parish of North Canton and the North Canton Eagles. He played the saxophone while in the Army and then in many area bands. He loved restoring classic cars, customizing Harleys and hunting. Tony is survived by his wife of 25 years Sylvia "Ruth" (Swafford) Lupe, brother Vincent O. (Mary Jane) Lupe, nephew V. Dana Lupe and many loving step-children and grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Paul Catholic Parish of North Canton with Rev. Fr. Marian Babjak celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
