Born in Canton March 2, 1924
Toni graduated from McKinley High School in 1941 and from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1946. As a registered nurse she worked for Dr. Posner and Dr.Fladen. She was a faithful member of Little Flower Church, served as president of Altar and Rosary Society. She was a great cook, a talent which she passed on to her children. Dancing the jitterbug with her husband Rocco was a highlight at many weddings. Preceded in death by her husband Rocco, sisters Rose Angelletti, Josephine Douez, Teresa Gero, brothers Bennie Prato and Joseph Prato. Survived by children Pamela Dobbins (David) of Canton, Anne Scavelli of Houston, Texas, Richard Caiazza (Andrea) of Cochocton, Ohio, Roger Caiazza (Rita) of Canton, Joseph Anthony Caiazza (Hope) of Massillon, and by her grandchildren Melissa, David John, Damon, Courtney, Angelo, Jessica, Albert, Adam, Rosa, Rachel, Joseph, Dawn, Michael and nine great grandchildren. She was also Aunt Toni to numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Friday (Tonight) from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 am at Little Flower Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Leo Wehrlin, celebrant. The funeral procession will form at the church Saturday morning. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
