August Myronowytsch, age 80 of Canton, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was born in Germany on December 25, 1943 to the late Pawlo and Kateryna Myronowitsch. A graduate of Canton McKinley High School, he later retired from Hercules Engines. In his free time, August loved watching football and racing, especially NASCAR and NHRA.

He is survived by his loving wife Krystyna; children Tanya Ballora (Mark Neading) and Paul (Heidi) Myronowytsch; three grandchildren Alex and Devin Ballora, and Mason Myronowytsch; sisters-in-law Irene (Jay) Bednar and Helen Zak; and brother-in-law Joe Charlikowsky.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Funeral services to begin in the funeral home at 12 noon. Interment to follow at North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help defray the cost of the funeral.
