Augustine J. (Augie) Villella, age 76 of Canton went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2015. Augie was born on August 1, 1939 in Canton to the late Frank and Maria (Reda) Villella. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and a member of Eagles. He was a retired employee of Stark County Commissioners and was the owner of Dependable Floors for many years. He is also known to many as the "Mayor" of Lawrence Road. In addition to his parents, Augie was preceded in death by his son Ralph, daughter Tina and three brothers, Ralph, Joseph and Anthony. Augie was a wonderful husband and a loving father and grandfather. He was full of life and will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife Johanna of the home, son Danny Villella, and daughter Carol (David) Addington, all of Canton. He is also survived by one sister Louise Caracillo of Massillon and three grandchildren Jarrod, Joseph, and Stephanie and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday morning, August 20, 2015 at 10 am at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit as Celebrant. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
