Aurora "Rhoda" Garcia, age 91 of Canton, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025. Born in Donora, PA to the late Raymond and Dolores (Pelaez) Garcia, she was also preceded in death by her siblings Helen Tunon, Raymond Garcia, Louis Garcia, Angel Garcia, Angelina Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Mary Szerokman, Julio Garcia, and Lucy Shankle.

Rhoda was a 1951 graduate of Timken High School and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. She retired in 1988 from Local 17A of the United Food and Commercial workers Union as their secretary and bookkeeper.

Rhoda is survived by her sister Josephine "Alice" Spotleson, brother John Garcia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services to begin in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Benson Okpara officiating. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
