Barbara Ann (Brown) (Housos) Fernandez, age 72 of Canton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends Thursday evening. Born in Canton to the late Glenn Brown, Sr. and Josephine (Harris) Brown, she was a 1961 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. Barbara retired from the Suarez Corporation in 2014 after 35 years as an account exeuctive. She was preceded in death by her son George Housos, brothers Ronald, Glenn Jr., Ralph R. and James A. Brown, brothers-in-law Manuel Fernandez and John Feriani. She is survived by her husband and partner of 28 years, Antonio "Tony" Fernandez, sons Chris Housos, Nick (Candice) Housos, daughter-in-law Jane (Tom) Putnam, grandchildren; Jessica (Nathan) Rosson, Joey Housos, Lauren (Chris) Rollins, Nelson Housos, Dalton Housos, step-children; Leo (Cathy) Fernandez and their children; Antonio, Matthew and Marisa, Anthony (Casandra) Fernandez and their children; Toni and Tori, Deana (Larry) May and their children; Nick, Kati and Larry, sister Ruth (Nick) Boldi, brother Ray Brown, step-brother Mike Henderson sister-in-law Nancy Brown, brothers-in-law Nick (Marian) Fernandez, Joe and Sam Silla, and sister-in-law Isa Fernandez. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donaitons may be made to the Gabrail Cancer Center (4875 Higbee Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44718).
