On March 17th Barbara Ethel Ghezzi passes away peacefully at St. Luke Lutheran Home. Barbara was born on October 22, 1931in Canton Ohio to John and Angela Byington. She grew up in a full household with 5 siblings: Jim, Joe, Jeff, Carol and JoAnn. Barbara met the love of her life Ernie Ghezzi while attending McKinley High School. They were married and raised two children: the late Mark Ghezzi and Debby currently of Massachusetts.

After attending Kent State University Barbara went on to have a rewarding elementary school teaching career at Fairmount School. She was an active member for many years at Martin Luther King Church in downtown Canton.

She is survived by her Granddaughter Savanna Gabrielle Ghezzi and daughter Debby Ghezzi.

There will be a public ceremony at Northlawn Cemetery on Wednesday March 22nd at 11:00 am.
