Barbara Joyce Ramsier

Age 81, Barbara Joyce Ramsier went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2017 in Canton, Ohio. She was born on June 1, 1936 in Uniontown, PA. Barbara was a selfless woman who always put her family first. Through hard work and dedication, she filled our lives with memories to be treasured always. Her sense of humor and compassion made her a friend to all. She will be greatly missed. Barbara is survived by her son, Rex D. Ramsier and his wife, Susan Ramsier of Spencer, Ohio; daughter, Jaime Dee Stoneking and her husband, Steve Stoneking of Bolivar, Ohio; three grandsons, Ian Edward Ramsier, Brett Nicholas Ramsier and Eric James Ramsier; four granddaughters, Ashley Renee Stoneking, Madison Rae Stoneking, Jill Leanna Ramsier and Anna Marie Ramsier. She was preceded in death by her husband Mahlon Edward Ramsier, her parents Ralph and Barbara Garrow; her brothers, George Garrow, Fred Garrow, Herbert Garrow and Wilbert Garrow. Calling hours are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., which will immediately be followed by funeral services on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Northwest Church of Christ, 3904 38 ^th Street NW, Canton, Ohio 44718, officiated by Minister Lance Lindenberger. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that all donations be made to the The Aultman Women's Board Compassionate Care Center in Stark County.
