He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Linda (Rea); parents Vincenzo and Catarina Frustaci; brothers-in-law Carmen Papaleo, Joseph Rea; and brother and sister-in-law Antonio and Rosa Frustaci. He is survived by his two children, Vincent Frustaci and Catherine (George) Letosky; daughter-in-law Jennie Frustaci; his three grandchildren Benedetto T. Frustaci, Ella and Georgie Letosky; sisters Annina Papaleo and Mirella (Frank) Procopio; brother Marcello (Barbara) Frustaci; and sister-in-law Dolly Rea. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Benny retired from the Hoover Company in December of 2001, after 30 years of service as a floor supervisor. Benny also worked and operated The Frustaci Italian Grocery Store, catering many weddings and parties in the Stark County community.

Benny was a member of the Sant’Andrea Club, Knights of Columbus, Council #341, Holy Name Society with Little Flower and St. Anthony Parish in Canton. Benny was also a member of Christopher Columbus Society in Alliance, Ohio and the Little Flower Men’s Club.

After retirement, Benny spent his free time gardening and sharing his bounty with family and friends. He had a green thumb when it came to his fig trees, and was also a master at wine making. Everyone loved his homemade sausage and tomato sauce.

The family would like to thank the excellent care that Benny received on 10 Main at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, in addition to the Palliative Care Physician, Dr. Christopher Hauger, D.O. and nurses, in particular Mara and Holly.
