Bernard "Bernie" V. Boron, age 95 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. He was born in Canton on January 7, 1930 to the late William and Edith (Griggy) Boron. A 1948 Central Catholic High School graduate, he was an avid sports man. Bernie was inducted into the Amateur Bowling Hall of Fame, and had four 300 games in various Men's City Tournaments. He also was inducted into the Fumbleball Hall of Fame. Bernie retired in 1990 from Diebold, where he worked as a machinist.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years Jane Ann, and brother Paul Boron. Bernie is survived by his children Mark (Lori) Boron, Vicki Boron, and David (Michelle) Boron; grandson Nick (Savannah) Boron; siblings Eugene "Huge" Boron and Mary Weber.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
