Bette L. Hopps age 74 of Canton passed away Tuesday afternoon at Aultman Compassionate Care after a extended illness. Bette was born in Canton on November 17, 1939 to the late Michael and Anna Tolin she was preceded in death by her former husband Thomas Hopps, brother Robert Tolin, sisters Frances Tolin Dorothy Chirumbolo and Anne Posey. She was a Member of Christ the Servant Parish and a retired employee of Aultman Hospital. She is survived by her son Marty Hopps, daughters Jodi (Rick) Conner, Marci Hane, Julie Schlemmer, Any (Harold) Pritchard, Andrea (Greg) Foresha, grandchildren Kayla Hane, Josef Hopps, Joshua Burleson, Roni Hane, Matthew Schlemmer, Jennifer Burleson, Kari Schlemmer, Rachel Stinard, Anthony Stinard, Devon Foresha, Kathryn Schlemmer, Shane Foresha, Emalee Foresha and 9 great-grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at Christ The Servant Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Edward Stafford celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Aultman Hospice or Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
