Betty V. Adams (Albert) 1926-2016

Age 89, of Bolivar, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 8th in Aultman Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 15, 1926 in Portage, Pennsylvania to George and Edna Albert and resided in Canton the majority of her life. She retired from Massillon State Hospital after 19 years of service. She is preceded in death by her late husband George Adams, brother Daniel (Roberta) Albert, sisters Dorothy Albert, Delores Albert, Esther Fulton and Lucille (John) Rinaldi. She is survived by her brother Richard (Kathy) Albert of Scottsdale, Az. and two daughters Kathy (Ronald) Collier of Canton and Diane (Randy) Schott of Bolivar, one grandson Ross Wagner, one great granddaughter Payne Wagner any many nieces and nephews. Betty's greatest passion was her love for her family. She was a wonderful and loving mother, her daughters were her greatest treasures. Betty had a beautiful sense of humor and was blessed with the unique gift of making everyone she knew and loved feel like they were the most important person in her life. Her greatest gift of all, is that she loved "with all her heart". Betty was a wonderful cook who loved preparing Syrian food, and making her home a place for family gatherings and creating memories. She will be tremendously missed and never forgotten. Calling hours will be held at the Rossi Family Funeral Home in Canton on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm and Thursday morning from 10 to 11a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m. by Father Michael Corbin. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, her favorite charity.
