Betty W. Yaghooti, age 92 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. She was born on February 16, 1932 to the late Elias and Sophia Eliadis. Betty retired as a manager from Mergus Restaurant after 25 years. She was an active supporter of the Canton Symphony Orchestra, and a member of the Koraes and the Daughter's of Penelope.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Rebecca Labowitz, and brothers James and Gust Eliadis. Betty is survived by her husband Cyrus Yaghooti of Canton, son Steve Adams, son-in-law Jeffrey Labowitz, and grandson Nicholas Labowitz.

Family and friends will be received at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin in the church at 11 a.m., Rev. Fr. Nicholas Halkias officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
