Betty Jane Williams, age 93 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026. She was born in Canton on October 9, 2026 to the late Lorenzo “Lawrence” and Mary (Tirabassi) Restaino. Betty was a graduate of McKinley High School. She dedicated 45 years to WRL Advertising, where she truly enjoyed her work and the many people she came to know throughout her career, before retiring at the age of 84.

Betty loved spending time with her family and friends and lived a very active life. She had a passion for traveling and enjoyed many trips around the world with her sisters, Anna and Mary Sandra. Betty was also an avid reader who spent countless hours reading and making frequent visits to the library. She will truly be missed by all of the people she touched throughout her life, and especially missed by her FAVORITE son Michael.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Williams; and siblings Clara Hatenstein, Ann Leyhe, Lawrence Restaino, and Mary Sandra Restaino. Betty is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law Michael and Marianne Hofacker of Canton.

Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
