Blanche J. Julian, age 95 of Canton, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017. She was born in Canton, on December 18, 1921 to the late Manuel and Generosa Garcia. Blanche was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, AARP and the Spanish-American Women's Club. She owned and operated Pri-Ad Advertising for 42 years; after selling, she went to work at U.S. Chemical. She would volunteer to do income taxes for those who could not afford to pay for it. Blanche was an avid golfer and bowler, she also loved to swim and travel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Julian, brother Louis Garcia, sister Isabel Garcia, Raymond Fernandez and niece Beth Sarbaugh. She is survived by her sister Dulce (Gene) Sarbaugh, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
