IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bruce A.
Ohman
November 15, 1954 – April 16, 2023
Bruce A. Ohman, age 68 of Dellroy, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023. He was born November 15, 1954 in Canton to the late Albert and Donna (Sabarese) Ohman. Bruce was a 1972 graduate of Louisville High School. His work ethic was like no other, with early employment through Service Packaging and currently with Republic Steel. He was an avid sportsman inducted into the 2009 Greater Canton Slo-Pitch Softball Hall of Fame. His passion moved from playing ball to gardening, still playing in the dirt. Naturally, he truly enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids grow up to compete in sports also.
Along with his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother, Mark Ohman, and brother-in-law, Scott Reed. Bruce is survived by his loving family; his wife, Diane (Crisp) Ohman; daughter Stephanie (Shawn) Adkins; two sons, Brian (Michele) Ohman and Drew Ohman; six grandchildren, Lauren, Hannah, John, Clara, Cole and Tori; brother, Craig Ohman; two sisters, Michele Reed and Pam (James) DiMarzio along with many nieces and nephews.
The life of the party always, may memory of him be eternal. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27 from 5 to 6:45 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Canton Ex-Newsboys.
