Carl A. Torcasio, age 83 of North Canton, passed away early Thursday morning. Born in Canton to the late Louis and Teresa (Torchia) Torcasio, Carl was a 1950 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. He served four years in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Carl proudly worked for 43 years with IBEW Local 540 for a total of 64 years as a journeyman wireman. He also served on the pension committee for Local 540. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Parish of North Canton. Carl fully enjoyed his retirement. He was preceded in death by his brothers Paul and Alfred Torcasio. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Lillian (McCabe) Torcasio, children; Michele Gorse, Lou (Cathy) Torcasio, Gino (Kelly) Torcasio, Carla Hall, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister Angeline Wright, sisters-in-law Stella and Becky Torcasio. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home (730 30 ^th St. NW) and Monday from 10 to 11 am. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Daniel Finnerty officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Massillon, OH.
