Carmel A. (Franzone) (Mackey) Mills, age 83 of Canton, passed away early Monday morning. Born in Canton to the late Angelo and Pauline (Ceseri) Franzone she was preceded in death by her husband Burton Mackey, granddaughter Kristen, brother Nick, and sisters Joanne and Evelyn. She is survived by her children Richard, Paulette, Steve, Kathy, Beth and daughter-in-law Erin Hester, grandchildren Julie, Sage, Skye, great-grandchildren Danielle and Megan, brothers Jospeh (Peggy) and John (Holly) Franzone, dear friend and roomate Susanna Saliola and her family and "special adopted daughter" Angelique D'Andrea. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributations may be made to help defray funeral expenses. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of St. Joseph Care Center for all their loving care.
