Carmel Ann Yannone, age 80 of Canton, passed away Tuesday evening. Born in Canton, to the late Pacifico and Mary (Rocci) Tonielli on July 18, 1935, she was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Rotuno and Margaret Lindsey. She was a 1953 cosmetology graduate of Timken Vocational High School, and was a Timken Rockette. Carmel was a 53 year member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Carmel loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, crossword puzzles and the ocean. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Ronald Yannone Sr., children Ronald Yannone Jr. of Clinton, MI, Teresa (Jeff) Dieffenbaugher of Houston, TX, and Lisa Lepsky of Jackson Township. Carmel is also survived by her brother Vincent (Linda) Tonielli; sisters Olga Lemmo, and Phyllis (Phillip) Gemmato; seven grandchildren Ronald Yannone III, Scott (Peyton) Dieffenbaugher, Dr. Sean Dieffenbaugher, Lauren and Owen Lepsky, David and Brad Yannone; and two great-grandchildren Brayden Yannone and Grace Dieffenbaugher. Family and friends will be received Friday, December 4 ^th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Memorial Mass on Saturday, December 5th at 10:00 am, Msgr. Frank A. Carfagna celebrant.
