Carmela Morris age 90 of Canton, passed away Saturday, January 21st. Born in Sardinia, Italy she was a Canton resident for most of her life. She was a retired chef having worked for Saints Philips and James Catholic Church. Carmela is survived by her daughter Rosaura Morris, grandchildren Amy (Eric) Layne, Daniel (Amanda) Paul, Carol (Bryan) Gaines, great grandchildren Amayah, Ayanna, Sawyer, Declan, Maverick, Lorelai, and Luther. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 27th, 10:30 am, at Christ the Servant Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Scott Kopp celebrant. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
