March 18, 1938 – October 8, 2014
Caryll Rae Boccuti, age 76 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, October 8, 2014. She was born in Canton, Ohio on March 18, 1938 to the late Maybelle and Seldon Skolmutch and was also preceded in death by her brother, Paul Skolmutch. Caryll was a 1956 graduate of McKinley High School. She enjoyed a 30 year career in the grocery business. Her favorite jobs were at the 30th Street IGA and being the front end coordinator at Giant Eagle. In addition, she loved working at the family business, Girolamos Pizza. Upon retirement, Caryll continued her life as a caregiver for many family members and friends. Her life was spent giving to others in every way - those she knew and those she didn't. One of her greatest joys was showing her generosity through baking. She enjoyed the time she spent at the Coleman Center. Caryll also loved traveling, especially her annual trips to Myrtle Beach and Florida. Whether she was volunteering at church, The House of Loreto, Royal Family Kids Camp or being a caregiver to family or friends, she will be forever remembered for her compassion.
