Catherine B. (Salvaterra) Bresiger, age 85 of North Canton, Ohio, died Sunday, May 22, 2016 following a short illness. She was born on June 27, 1930 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late John and Anne (Lusky) Salvaterra. She was a graduate of the Wheeling School of Cosmetology and has lived in North Canton since 1966. Catherine was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother Mary through her daily Rosary. She married Rudy Bresiger in 1950. Together they raised four children and recently celebrated their 66 ^th year of marriage on the 20 ^th of May. Also survived by children David (Sam) of Louisville, Barbara Louise Dodson, deceased (Charles of Jackson Township), Donald Michael (Valerie) of Kentucky, Rudy Steven (Jennifer) of Jackson Township, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brothers Richard (Beverly), John (Nadine) and sister Maryanne. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 9 pm at Little Flower Catholic Church and Friday from 10 to 11:00 am, a Mass of Christian burial will follow with Rev. Fr. Leo Wehrlin, celebrant. Internment will be in North Canton Cemetery.
