Cecelia "Dolly" (Schiavone) DeMario, age 92 of Canton, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024. Born September 10, 1931 in Canton to the late Carlo and Angeline (Tortola) Schiavone, she was also preceded in death by her husband Philip DeMario, Jr., sister Mary DeMario, and brothers Louis, Anthony, and James Schiavone.

She loved to watch The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Dolly is survived by her sister Carol Edwards, brother Carl (Joan) Schiavone, sisters-in-law Josephine Schiavone of Canton, Josephine Schiavone of Florida, niece Patricia DeMario (Joseph Rodriguez), nephew Philip (Diane) DeMario, and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per Dolly's request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the Servant Parish with Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop celebrant. The funeral procession will form at church. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dolly's name may be made to the Sancta Clara Monastery.
