Charles L. Lemmo, age 84 of Canton, passed away early Wednesday morning. A life resident of Canton, he was retired from the Stark County Sheriff's Department after 21 years as a Deputy Sheriff. Charles also was in business with his brothers Ned and Vince at Lemmo Auto Sales and Service. Preceded in death by his father Joseph Lemmo, mother and step-father Rose and Angelo Sisto, sister Maria Lemmo and brother Ned Lemmo. He is survived by his wife Donna "Kitty" (Lester) Lemmo, his children; Angelo Lemmo (Rick Glass), Michael (Annie) Lemmo, Diane Lemmo, four grandchildren; Renee (Brandon) Everett, Marcus Gabel, Jason (Katie) Archibald, Adam Lemmo, numerous great-grandchildren, brother Vince Lemmo, sister-in-law Beverly Lemmo, many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity.
